PREDICTO MOBILE OFFERS TO COVER SERIAL TEXTER'S CELL PHONEBILL
April 17, 2009 - 13 year old Dena Christoffersen of Cheyenne,
Wyo., rang up a nearly $5,000 cell phone bill for her parents this month.
The teen was a serial texter who sent and received over 20,000 text messages
within the span of about 30 days.
In an effort to alleviate some of the stress felt by Christoffersen's
parents, premier mobile entertainment community Predicto Mobile (www.predicto.com)
has an announced that it will work with the family and Verizon to pay the
balance.
In exchange, Predicto Mobile has requested that Dena write
a 1,000 word essay on "smart texting," offering fellow teen text
enthusiasts insight into what she learned from the experience and how her
habits might change moving forward. The essay will be posted on the Predicto
Mobile's blog as a way for parents and texters to learn from the costly error.
